combinations problem

Definition

A combinations problem asks you to figure out all the different ways you can pair up items from two or more groups, like how many different outfits you can make from a few shirts and a few pairs of pants.

combinations problem is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
