human environment

Definition

The "human environment" refers to all the things people have built or changed in an area, like roads, buildings, and parks, and how these things interact with each other. It can also include natural elements like rivers or lakes that are part of this modified area.

human environment is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
