An intersex person is someone born with reproductive parts, chromosomes, or hormones that don't fit typical definitions of male or female. This is a natural variation, and intersex people may identify as male, female, or intersex.
intersex is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
