math facts

Definition

Math facts" are the basic addition and subtraction problems using numbers up to nine (like 2+3 or 7-4), which children learn to solve quickly and easily. Knowing these helps them understand how numbers work and solve harder math problems.

math facts is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
