scaling

Definition

Scaling means making something bigger or smaller by multiplying it by a specific number. For example, if you want to scale a recipe for two people to serve four, you'd multiply all the ingredients by two.

scaling is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
