Seven Years' War

Definition

The Seven Years' War was a big fight between France and Great Britain (and their allies) that started in North America in 1754 and lasted until 1763, with Britain winning and taking control of what was then called New France (now part of Canada).

Seven Years' War is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
