A simulation is like playing a game or using a model to act out a real-life situation, helping us understand what might happen without actually doing it. For example, flipping a coin can simulate whether the next dog someone sees will be a boy or a girl.
simulation is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
