visual prompts

Definition

Visual prompts are pictures or symbols that help your child understand music, like using hearts to show the beat or lines to show how long a note should be played. They make learning to read music easier by giving your child something visual to connect with the sounds.

visual prompts is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
