Dry point is a way of making prints where an artist scratches a picture into a soft metal or plastic plate. When ink is put on the plate, it settles into these scratches, and then the picture is transferred onto paper.
etching (dry point) is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
