line (visual arts)

Definition

In art, a line is a basic mark that can be thick or thin, straight or curvy, and artists use different kinds of lines to show feelings or movement in their pictures.

line (visual arts) is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
