morphology

Definition

Morphology is simply looking at how words are built, like using LEGOs. It's about understanding how parts of words (like beginnings, middles, and endings) fit together to make new words and how words are connected to each other.

morphology is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
