Patriote/Parti patriote

Definition

The Patriote party was a group in old Quebec that wanted to give more power to French Canadians within the British government, and they were a big part of the 1837-38 rebellion.

Patriote/Parti patriote is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
