Definition

A rekenrek is a math tool with rows of beads, usually five white and five red, that helps kids learn to count and understand how numbers relate to 5 and 10. It's like a simple counting frame that helps them visualize numbers.

rekenrek is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
