Relative frequency tells you how often something happened compared to all the things that could have happened, shown as a percentage. For example, if 3 out of 10 times you flipped a coin it landed on heads, the relative frequency of heads is 30%.
relative frequency is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
