A soundscape or sound collage is like making a picture with sounds instead of paint, where different noises are put together to create a mood or highlight something important in a story. Kids work together to choose and make these sounds using their voices or instruments.
soundscape/sound collage is a term used in Ontario’s Kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum.
