Recall means to remember something you've learned or experienced, like remembering the answer to a question.
When your child can recall that 2 + 2 equals 4 without counting, they are using their memory.
How to teach this in 30 seconds
Try this analogy: Recalling is like finding a toy you put away in your toy box — your brain just has to find where it stored the information.
Ask your child: Can you recall what number comes after two?
Common mix-up: Kids might think recalling is just guessing. Recalling is about pulling a fact you already know from your memory, not making one up.

- Recalling the numbers from one to ten in order.
